I make these alot for my dogs and they love them, plus I know what's in them unlike some of those other commercial brands that have names you can't even pronounce.

Homemade Dog Treats Oven: 350ยบ

1c. flour (rice, whole wheat or spelt) 1 egg

1c. uncooked rolled oats 1/2c. ground flax (can be bought at health stores or organic section of any grocery store)

2/4c. water 1c. veggies*

1/4c. almonds, walnuts or pecans

Mix dry ingredients together (oats, flour, nuts, flax). Set aside.
Then mix water, egg and veg puree(see below) in a seperate bowl.
Pour liquids into dry ingredients, mix well. You can also use a food processor.
Scoop 1 tsp. drops onto baking sheet, place in oven bake 1 hour.
Once finished turn off the oven and leave the treats in there over night, oven slightly ajar. This makes the treats crunchy.

*Veggies:

I actually use any veggies or fruits that I have in the fridge. You can also use frozen, its much easier. You can use :

- Spinach -Blueberries -Carrots -Beets -Apples
-Bananas Applesauce
